Jody Barth - Team Bud - RED DIVISION

Has a .629 career winning percentage, going 73-43 in eight years in the league, good enough for 7th place on the all-time list. Has qualified for the playoffs in seven of eight years. Captured division championships in '95, '97, '00, '01 and '02. Named GM and Coach of the Year in 1998 when he directed the Kardiac Kids to a 74-55 victory over Captain Tripps in Fantasy Bowl Nine. Started the '02 season with five straight wins and eventually won the White Division despite losing two out of their last three games. Advanced to the All-American Conference championship game, losing 84-83 to LTP.

Dave Collins - Dayton Penatrators - RED DIVISION

Returning for his second Erie League season, Collins debuted last year with a record of 6-9 (.400 percentage). Finished the regular season as the number eight playoff seed, qualifying for the final spot by drilling Black Diamond, 107-64 in Week 12. Pulled off a huge first round upset, knocking out the top-seeded Psychedelic B's, 102-78. Lost to Team Bud 91-74 the following week and the Masons 81-49 in the All-American Conference Third Place Game. Also participated for seven years in the now defunct Beaver Valley League, winning titles in '98, '00 and '01.

Robert Davis - No Limit Ballers - RED DIVISION

Returning for his second Erie League season after a three year hiatus. Davis debuted in 1999, finishing with a record of 5-10 (.333 percentage). Ended the 1999 regular season with a mark of 3-9, before catching fire in the consolation tournament and losing to the eventual Toilet Bowl Champion Mad Zippers, 73-58.

Bryan Vince - Psychedelic B's - RED DIVISION

Has a .563 career winning percentage, going 63-49 in eight Erie League seasons, placing him 12th on the all-time list. Has qualified for the playoffs in seven of eight years. Captured division championships in '98, '99, '01 and '02. Named GM of the Year in 1996 when his club defeated the Donikers-DTL 74-63 in Fantasy Bowl Seven. Made a triumphant return to the All-American Conference in 2002 after just one season in the Browns Conference, dubbed the "Geriatric Conference" by Vince. He earned Coach of the Year honors for guiding the B's to a 9-3 regular season record. However, his top seeded club was upset in the first round of the playoffs by the Dayton Penatrators, 102-78.

Mike Kuratko - Hostile Omish - WHITE DIVISION

Has a .561 career winning percentage, going 101-79 in 12 Erie League seasons, placing him 2nd on the all-time list. Has qualified for the playoffs in eight of 12 years. Captured division championships in '91, '91, '93 and '94. Lost 134-96 to the Midnight Vigilantes in the 2000 Fantasy Bowl. Beat the Cosmic Monsters, 73-42, to win the 1996 Consolation Title. Returned to the All-American Conference in 2002 after three seasons in the Browns Conference. Rallied from a 5-7 regular season to win his second Consolation Title, 106-76 over the Long Shots. 

Joe Nunney - Black Diamond - WHITE DIVISION

Has a .351 career winning percentage, going 39-72 in eight Erie League seasons. Captured a division championship in '99, before losing 104-87 to the Bonecrushers in the Browns Conference Finals, his club's only playoff appearance. As a last-minute stand-in when Psychedelic B's GM Bryan Vince failed to show at the '99 draft, Nunney selected a team that went on to finish 13-2 and break the regular season record for points in a season. His fellow owners rewarded him with the 1999 General Manager of the Year Award - for the conference he didn't participate in. Struggled again in '02, finishing 3-10.

Matt Rzyczycki - Captain Tripps - WHITE DIVISION

Has a .508 career winning percentage, going 65-63 in nine Erie League seasons, good enough for 10th on the all-time list. Has qualified for the playoffs in seven of his nine years in the league. Captured division championships in '94, '97, '98 and '00. Lost to the Kardiac Kids, 74-55, in Fantasy Bowl Nine. Despite the draft day help from his son Sebastian (pictured right), Rzyczycki's club slumped to a 4-9 record last year.

Keith Kuratko - Atomic Punks - WHITE DIVISION

Has a .575 career winning percentage, going 115-85 in 13 Erie League seasons, placing him 1st on the all-time list. Has qualified for the playoffs in 12 of 13 years. Captured division championships in '91, '92, '93 and '99. Named GM of the Year in '94, '99 and '00 and Coach of the Year in 1999. Won the league's first Fantasy Bowl with a 29-26 win over the King Salmons. Went to the title game again in 1991, losing 68-37 to the Brown Bombers in Fantasy Bowl Two. Finished the 2002 regular season with a 6-6 mark, qualifying for the playoffs as the seventh seed. Scored 111 points in the first round -- and lost -- to Team Bud, 128-111.

John Thiem - Masons - BLUE DIVISION

Has a .552 career winning percentage, going 32-26 in four Erie League seasons, placing him 18th on the all-time list. Has qualified for the playoffs in all four years in the league. Finished the 2002 regular season with a 7-5 mark, good enough for his first division title. Held off Titlebound Two, 83-74, in the first round of the playoffs, before bowing out to eventual All-American Conference champion LTP, 81-66. Rebounded with a convincing 81-49 victory over the Dayton Penatrators to clinch third place in the conference.

J.P. Dougherty/Brett Harney - Titlebound Two - BLUE DIVISION

Have a .615 career winning percentage, going 16-10 in two Erie League seasons. Captured a division championships in '01 while playing in the Browns Conference. Moved to the All-American Conference in 2002 at the request of Commissioner Kirk Pavelich, where they finished 6-7, losing in the first round of the playoffs to the Masons, 83-74. Earned GM and Coach of the Year in the Browns Conference for the 2001 season.

 

Donald Jones - LTP - BLUE DIVISION

Has a .553 career winning percentage, going 57-46 in seven Erie League seasons, placing him 13th on the all-time list. Has qualified for the playoffs four times in seven years. Captured division championships in '99 and '01. Named GM and Coach of the Year along with former co-owner Steve Suder in 1997 when they directed LTP to a 60-59 victory over the Cosmic Monsters in Fantasy Bowl Eight. Finished the '02 regular season with a 6-6 mark, before reeling off three straight victories to reach Fantasy Bowl 13. Lost the title game to the Horn-Headed Degenerates, 96-93.

Kirk Pavelich - Midnight Vigilantes - BLUE DIVISION

Has a .591 career winning percentage, going 97-67 in 11 Erie League seasons, placing him 4th on the all-time list. Has qualified for the playoffs nine straight years and 10 of 11 years overall. Captured division championships in '96, '97, '00 and '01. Named GM of the Year in 1995 when his club defeated the Donikers-DTL 103-80 in Fantasy Bowl Six. Won the award again in 2000 when the Vigilantes beat the Hostile Omish 134-96 in Fantasy Bowl 11, becoming the first team in league history to win two titles. Captured a third championship in 2001, defeating the Donikers-DTL 122-95 in Fantasy Bowl 12. Rallied from a 1-4 start in '02 to finish 8-5, earning him his third GM of the Year award. Lost 101-89 in OT in his first round matchip with eventual conference champion LTP.
