Week Four High Scoring Teams

"I'm tired of putting Bryan Vince's picture up each week for high scoring team. I figure the real reason the Psychedelic B's are undefeated and leading the league in scoring is because of the fabulous job done drafting the team -- by Joe Nunney."

PP Brains owner Steve Suder, responding to last week's comments by LTP GM Don Jones. Jones had implied that LTP's success this season is due partly to Suder's off-season departure from co-ownership.

"The man called his shot and sure enough he hit it over the fence."
John Thiem, Masons GM, commenting on the fact that Midnight Vigilantes owner Kirk Pavelich predicted an injury to Terrell Davis, then traded him to the Gargoyles, then saw the prediction come true with this week's season ending injury.

"I have a history of making bad trades. With the Davis trade, I finally thought that I'd screwed someone else. Terrell's injury made me feel like a cheap whore that got stiffed trying to turn a trick."
Gargoyles owner Thomas lamenting the fact that Terrell Davis, a player he obtained in a trade with the Midnight Vigilantes, is now lost for the season.

"Stormboy, how does it feel getting woooped by a polish boy!!!!!!!! I also think it's time for the Monarchs to get some respect by updating the owners profile page. Monarchs rule. Butt chows---ready for a wooopin!!!!!!!!"
Polish Monarchs frontman Mike Szydlowski responding to last week's comments by Gargoyles owner Storm Thomas. Thomas had made the statement that Szydlowski's Monarchs were not a "good team."

"My hats off to Szydlowski. I took him for granted and I am glad that he is back in the league. Even if Terrell hadn't gotten hurt it proably would have been a win for him. I think that it speaks to the elite nature of our conference. That other conference reminds me of the ABL, USFL, and Arena football. Purely second rate competition."
Gargoyles owner Thomas giving props to Mike Szydlowski and his Polish Monarchs while dissing the Keith Kuratko-led Browns Conference.

"Storm had his mouth shut again this month. I am sorry I made those comments about him. I forgot he didn't even draft his own team."
Jones, commenting on the fact that Thomas' team could not back up the boasting of their GM this week. He is also referring to the fact that Thomas, a resident of California, had to have Dave Bell sit in on auction night this year.

"Despite losing Terrell Davis, I am not worried about LTP. I see them as a speed bump on the way to winning the division."
Thomas responding to comments from division rival Don Jones.

""Brad whined about that respect shit last year!! I respect Brad and I think a lot of people in the league respect 'Deuce.' Although, if he wants more respect maybe he should undergo an image change and start calling himself "uno" because until then he will probably always finish in second place."
Thomas again, commenting on the fact Rzyczycki's Cosmic Monsters is one of only two teams in Erie League history to advance to the Fantasy Bowl twice -- and lose each time.
