"To GM Keith Kuratko: I still cannot believe what I'm about to say but I give props to the man. He's already got my vote for GM of the Year. Kid is in it every single year -- top of the division, in the playoffs every year. The kid is making trades, pulling players out of his ass. What else can you say? You know what Atomic Punks stands for? Atomic because he's explosive and Punks because he punks someones ass every other week."
Jody Barth, Kardiac Kids, commenting after seeing his squad get drilled by Keith Kuratko's Atomic Punks 105-77.

"I also give Keith a lot of credit for his continued years of success. Maybe this will be the year he finally gets back to the bowl. However, you've also got to give credit to Sam Profio. In just four years, he's already seventh on the all time wins list. The six people ahead of him have all been in the league for at least seven years. The only thing missing from his resume is a fantasy bowl title. I believe this is the year he doesn't just appear in the big game but the year he wins it all."
Commissioner Kirk Pavelich's response to the comments made earlier by Barth.

"Way to go LTP. You are a genius. How do you do it? You win the fantasy football championship and the next year you're the bottom of the division with the lowest amount of points. What the hell were you thinking? You're sitting there looking at all the players you had last year on your little plaque, wishing you had all those same players. You should have taken a lesson from (Bryan) Vince. Vince wins the title (in 1996) and then boom, dead last and first out of the playoffs the next year. LTP wins the title and then boom, dead last and no playoffs. You two were made for each other. I'm out."
Barth again, apparently auditioning for the Jim Rome show, and his numerous "takes" on the EFFL.
