However, TE Desmond Clark and the Denver defense both played well in the ESPN game, forcing Vigilantes owner Kirk Pavelich to watch every second with a calculator in hand. Thanks to eight points from PK Jason Elam, the Vigilantes were able to hold off the charge and eliminate Captain Tripps, 92-91. Once again, the New Orleans connection of QB Aaron Brooks (17 points) and WR Joe Horn (19 points) helped the Vigilantes break the 90-point barrier for the eighth time this season. | | Midnight Vigilantes | | | STARTERS | | QB | Brooks,Aaron | NO | 17 | | RB | Pittman,Michael | ARI | 8 | | RB | George,Eddie | TEN | 15 | | WR | Holt,Torry | STL | 6 | | WR | Boston,David | ARI | 13 | | WR | Horn,Joe | NO | 19 | | PK | Elam,Jason | DEN | 8 | | DF | RAMS,STL | STL | 6 | | BENCH PLAYERS | | QB | Blake,Jeff | NO | | | RB | Henry,Travis | BUF | 21 | | RB | McAllister,Deuc | NO | 14 | | RB | Canidate,Trung | STL | 0 | | RB | Jones,Thomas | ARI | 0 | | WR | Thrash,James | PHI | 7 | | WR | Brown,Troy | NE | 14 | | PK | Hall,John | NYJ | 1 | |
